Watch the thrilling Season 3 trailer of The White Lotus, set in Thailand with new characters, danger, and dark twists. Premieres Feb 16 on HBO Max.

The highly anticipated Season 3 trailer of the hit series from creator Mike White has finally been released. After immersing viewers in the settings of Hawaii and Italy in earlier seasons, this time, the show shifts to southeast Asia, where new characters hope to find relaxation through meditation, drugs, and exotic food—though the local cuisine might take some getting used to.

In one memorable moment, Rick Hatchett (played by Walton Goggins) expresses his frustration with the food, telling his younger girlfriend Chelsea (played by Aimee Lou Wood), "Gluten-free rice and coconut balls? What is this, a f---ing fat farm?"

Rick is introduced as a tough guy with a grudge, while Chelsea embodies the role of a carefree free spirit. Their trip to Thailand is meant to be a soothing getaway, but as the trailer suggests, it’s never that simple.

One of the characters in the trailer reflects, “Everyone runs from pain, seeking pleasure. But when they arrive, they only find more pain.”

Among the newcomers this season are Kate (played by Leslie Bibb), Laurie (played by Carrie Coon), and Jaclyn (played by Michelle Monaghan), three lifelong friends who reunite for a girls' trip. Then there’s the Ratliff family: wealthy businessman Timothy (played by Jason Isaacs), his wife Victoria (played by Parker Posey), and their children Saxon (played by Patrick Schwarzenegger), Piper (played by Sarah Catherine Hook), and Lochlan (played by Sam Nivola).

Returning to the series is Natasha Rothwell as Belinda, the spa manager from the Hawaii location in Season 1. She’s now visiting the Thailand branch as part of an "exchange program" and has a positive outlook, especially after making a connection with a handsome hotel worker.

This season will also dive deeper into the inner workings of the White Lotus brand, with Lek Patravadi portraying Sritala, one of the franchise owners and the visionary behind its wellness program.

As with past seasons, not everything at the White Lotus is as idyllic as it seems. The trailer teases dark moments, with a gun being waved around, a snake lurking, and a body being carted away on a gurney. As Mike White previously teased, Season 3 is set to be "longer, bigger, and crazier" than anything before.

A final line from the trailer captures the unsettling vibe: "What the f--- is this place?"

The White Lotus Season 3 will premiere on Sunday, February 16, airing on HBO and Max. Don’t miss the new trailer and sneak peek images!
