FX orders 'Snowflakes,' a new comedy from Nick Kroll and 'Tonight Show' writers. The show features a cast of twentysomethings navigating their lives together.

FX is expanding its comedy lineup with the new series Snowflakes, despite bidding farewell to one of its current shows. This fresh addition, set to air on the Disney-owned network, revolves around a group of codependent housemates trying to improve themselves, even though they still struggle with being "good" and "people."

The series, which received a pilot order in January, is produced by FX Productions and created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The show features an ensemble cast including Malik Elassal, Lucy Freyer, Jack Innanen, Amita Rao, and Owen Thiele, and is executive produced by Nick Kroll, Jonathan Krisel of Baskets, and Stefani Robinson from Atlanta and What We Do in the Shadows.

FX Entertainment president Nick Grad expressed enthusiasm about the show’s talented cast and the opportunity to introduce Kronengold and Shaw’s unique comedic style. The network is also gearing up for the final season of What We Do in the Shadows, and has English Teacher starring Brian Jordan Alvarez premiering soon. Meanwhile, FXX’s Dave is on hold as Dave “Lil Dicky” Burd takes a break for music and other projects.

Kronengold and Shaw will executive produce Snowflakes along with Kroll, Alicia Van Couvering, Krisel (who also directed the pilot), and Robinson.
