Discover how the new interior designer of Queer Eye, Brent, is transforming the set's atmosphere and the latest rumors surrounding the show.

The new interior designer has reported that the atmosphere on the set of Queer Eye has been completely harmonious since he took over for Bobby Berk on the hit Netflix series. He also mentioned that the cast has started a group chat.

In a recent interview with House Beautiful, Brent remarked, "There's no conflict among us. We’re all enjoying ourselves in the group chat. Everyone has a positive mindset, which makes for a really healthy situation, and we’re all looking forward to this season."

Queer Eye fans have joked that Berk, the interior expert, handled most of the renovation tasks, while his fellow cast members, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, and Karamo Brown, focused on shopping and heartfelt conversations.

Brent conveyed his excitement for the role, stating, “I enjoy installations. I thrive under pressure and love the challenge. I know what I’m getting into.” He commended the dedicated art department and crew working behind the scenes, adding, "I can’t wait to get started, put in the effort, and present some stunning designs."

Netflix announced last month that Brent, recognized from HGTV, would step in for Berk in the new season, which will be set in Las Vegas. Berk had previously revealed that he opted not to renew his contract due to some reported tensions with co-stars, especially with France. Berk described their dynamic as sibling-like, admitting that such relationships often involve some disagreements.

Recent claims from Rolling Stone reignited rumors of behind-the-scenes drama, alleging that France sought to have Brent replace Berk and that Jonathan van Ness, the hairstylist, had issues with anger management—claims that France has denied.
