The View cohosts humorously claim Trump's brain is a "satellite office" after his recent critiques. The show remains top-rated, attracting 2.6 million viewers.

The cohosts of The View have humorously claimed that Donald Trump’s brain serves as one of the show's "satellite offices." This came after Trump criticized the program and called for the return of former cohost Rosie O'Donnell during a recent speech at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Dinner.

Following Trump’s remarks, legal expert Sunny Hostin celebrated the opportunity by declaring her presence in Trump’s “headspace.” On the following episode, the hosts aired a clip of Trump referring to The View as a "stupid show," asserting that its ratings had declined. He also claimed to know each cohost personally, a statement that Ana Navarro quickly disputed on air. Hostin responded with a jab, mentioning her coverage of Trump’s hush-money trial in New York earlier this year, which resulted in his conviction on 34 felony counts.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, a conservative panelist who previously worked for Trump's White House communications team, shared that Trump recently denied knowing her, despite their past connection. She interpreted this as a sign that he is “losing it.” Hostin added, “Isn’t it enjoyable to live rent-free in his head?” affirming their presence in Trump's thoughts.

Griffin remarked that Trump’s mind is "a scary place to be," while Hostin waved to Trump on camera, expressing her enjoyment that he has admitted to watching the show multiple times.

As for ratings, The View recently reported being the top daytime talk show for the week of October 7, attracting 2.6 million viewers. The October 8 interview with Vice President Kamala Harris became the show’s most-watched episode since 2021.

Trump's latest criticisms of The View add to his history of verbal attacks against the program, including derogatory remarks about moderator Whoopi Goldberg. The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
