Discover Lady Gaga's captivating portrayal of Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix's Joker in the upcoming sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, releasing October 4.

Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn shares a passionate moment with Joaquin Phoenix's Joker in a new exclusive preview of the highly anticipated sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, from Entertainment Weekly. The scene starts with Harleen Quinzel (played by Gaga) approaching Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) while he's confined in a jail cell. As a crowd roars in the distance, Harleen presses herself against the bars, kissing Arthur passionately. A guard's voice breaks the intensity, warning, "No touching!"

Harleen reassures Arthur, telling him how proud she is of him and how the crowd outside is going wild for him. Arthur, in a moment of dark humor, pretends to hang himself with his tie, mentioning that he should read "a law book" before his trial, which is a major plot point of the film.

In a powerful exchange, Harleen looks him in the eyes and confidently declares, "You're Joker," signaling her belief in his chaotic persona. This preview showcases Gaga's unique portrayal of Harley Quinn, departing from the more traditional Brooklyn-accented interpretations, such as those by Arleen Sorkin, who originated the character in Batman: The Animated Series, and more recent versions by Margot Robbie and Kaley Cuoco.

Additionally, Warner Bros. recently revealed the first look at Harvey Dent, played by Harry Lawtey, adding further anticipation to the film’s lineup. The movie will follow Joker and Harley Quinn as they team up to spread terror in Gotham City, blending their violent escapades with musical numbers, an element director Todd Phillips emphasized at CinemaCon.

The film, set to release on October 4, will also feature a stellar cast including Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Steve Coogan. Joker: Folie à Deux promises to maintain the dark, musical, and chaotic tone of its predecessor, with music playing a key role in the storytelling.
