Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn shares a passionate moment with Joaquin Phoenix's Joker in a new exclusive preview of the highly anticipated sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, from Entertainment Weekly. The scene starts with Harleen Quinzel (played by Gaga) approaching Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) while he's confined in a jail cell. As a crowd roars in the distance, Harleen presses herself against the bars, kissing Arthur passionately. A guard's voice breaks the intensity, warning, "No touching!"

Harleen reassures Arthur, telling him how proud she is of him and how the crowd outside is going wild for him. Arthur, in a moment of dark humor, pretends to hang himself with his tie, mentioning that he should read "a law book" before his trial, which is a major plot point of the film.

In a powerful exchange, Harleen looks him in the eyes and confidently declares, "You're Joker," signaling her belief in his chaotic persona. This preview showcases Gaga's unique portrayal of Harley Quinn, departing from the more traditional Brooklyn-accented interpretations, such as those by Arleen Sorkin, who originated the character in Batman: The Animated Series, and more recent versions by Margot Robbie and Kaley Cuoco.
