Sean "Diddy" Combs may soon face even more legal challenges. Attorney Tony Buzbee recently announced that he is representing 120 individuals who are preparing to file sexual misconduct lawsuits against the well-known hip-hop mogul, who is already awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
Buzbee shared during a press conference that the lawsuits are expected to be filed over the coming month. According to his statement, the group of accusers consists of 60 men and 60 women, with 25 of them being minors at the time the alleged incidents occurred.
Combs' attorney, Erica Wolff, responded to the allegations, dismissing them as meritless. She emphasized that Combs denies all accusations, including those involving minors, calling the claims false and defamatory. She stated that Combs looks forward to proving his innocence in court, where he believes the truth will come out based on evidence rather than speculation.
Combs, 54, was arrested in Manhattan on September 16 following a grand jury indictment. He remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail. He has pleaded not guilty to charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.
The unsealed indictment accuses Combs and his associates of sex trafficking, forced labor, and other criminal acts such as kidnapping, arson, and obstruction of justice. It alleges that for years, Combs used his business empire and resources to coerce and abuse individuals, protecting his reputation and hiding his criminal conduct.
The indictment describes a criminal enterprise led by Combs, who allegedly manipulated and abused his power for decades to fulfill his desires and cover up his actions.
