Thailand Beckons: The White Lotus Season 3 Teaser Unveils New Mysteries

It’s nearly time for another chaotic getaway. To coincide with the House of the Dragon season 2 finale on Sunday, HBO released a teaser for its upcoming shows, including the highly anticipated Season 3 of The White Lotus.

Created, directed, and written by Mike White, The White Lotus anthology series has previously taken viewers to Hawaii in its first season and Sicily in the second. Each season is set at a different location within the White Lotus hotel chain. It has now been confirmed that Season 3 will be set in Thailand.

In keeping with the show’s signature style, Season 3 promises plenty of intrigue. A teaser features a character saying, "What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand," while lounging by a pool.

As usual, The White Lotus Season 3 will introduce mostly new characters. The cast includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood.

However, there will be a familiar face: Natasha Rothwell is returning as Belinda from Season 1. In the new preview, Belinda appears after her previous venture to start a wellness business was turned down by Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge). With Tanya's death in the Season 2 finale, Belinda might have new opportunities ahead.

Production of The White Lotus Season 3 faced delays due to the Hollywood strikes last year, pushing its release to 2025, three years after the previous season. Mike White has hinted that this next season will be "longer, bigger, crazier" and expressed his excitement about the upcoming content.
