Season 4 of ‘Bridgerton’: Benedict’s Time to Shine and Find Love

Benedict Bridgerton is set to take center stage in Season 4 of the steamy Regency-era series, "Bridgerton". According to Netflix's announcement, the upcoming season will spotlight Benedict, the “bohemian second son” of the Bridgerton family, portrayed by Luke Thompson.

While his elder and younger brothers are both happily married, Benedict has been reluctant to settle down. That changes when he meets a fascinating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball. Thompson revealed that although Benedict has often felt somewhat adrift, he is now on a quest to discover something more substantial about himself in this season.

Showrunners Shonda Rhimes and Jess Brownell expressed their excitement about exploring Benedict’s journey in Season 4, which will consist of eight episodes. Brownell noted that it was essential for Benedict to fully explore his character before settling into a committed relationship. “He has grand aspirations, and we wanted to show him living a vibrant life before he settles down,” she said.

Season 3 of "Bridgerton" focused on Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton). As they are now married, Season 4 will explore their new married life. The release date for Season 4 of "Bridgerton" has not yet been announced.
